Alton Brown just made a paella on one of his new episodes; I saw it yesterday. The difference with his was that he used only chicken and no other meat. It looked really good though. I liked how he grilled it over a grill instead of stovetop for even cooking. Here is the link: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/paella-recipe/index.html

The universe does appear to be in some sort of paella-related alignment. My good friend Leonard has of late been obsessing about coming up with a recipe for Eating Your Heart Out. He's getting there, but if I have to sample it one more time he's gonna get that chorizo where the sun don't shine.

it does sound good, doesn't it? I'm tempted by the Paella Cubana but I shall wait until I can make a mess of my parents kitchen instead of my own. After all, they have much more room :-)
