Tried? Bird Nest soup last year from like http://www.geocities.jp/hongkong_bird_nest/index_e.htm . Tastes really good… yeah, I thought it was gross at first, but wow, you won’t regret it.

OK, color me surprised. I thought it would be like a mock turtle thing – no real bird’s or nests. I don’t know if I would be brave enough to try the real thing unless I was only told afterwards what it was. Maybe I should start with the “faux” thin noodle version.
