Blue Raspberry Slushies from 7-11 was my reference point. I'm presuming they're blue to distinguish them from strawberry or cherry.

Raspberry Cake? Not much of a fan.. I never find that bakers sieve their raspberries enough for my dental state. However, I DO deeply believe that raspberries actually serve as a better partner for chocolate than strawberries, especially in the baked sense. Also, raspberries-like peas- are a major success story when it comes to frozen produce, so on balance I'm all for raspberry-related baked good. All Year Round, and all that.. I guess it's just the American side of me that expects anything Raspeberry-flavoured to be blue, for a reason that still escapes me....Is it just the Slushies?
