Tomorrow is National Pie Day — not to be confused with National Pi Day which isn’t until March 14. Another difference? Mathematical constants aren’t, as a rule, nearly as sweeping in scope, rich in history or down right tasty as pie.
How can a single day encompass all that is covered by the word ‘pie’. Pies may be sweet or savory, one-crust or two, filled with fruit or cremes, meat or veggies. They can be large or small, baked or frozen, served hot or cold, alone or a la mode.
So forget math and concentrate on what matters. Tomorrow is about pie in all it’s forms. What will you do to mark this occasion?
