July is National Ice Cream Month and as a huge fan of the stuff, I have to say it’s one of my favorite culinary months. Despite having no ice cream maker and no real desire to have one – who has room in a small NYC apartment kitchen for that anyway?- I’ve made ice cream (I’m especially fond of my espresso ice cream) and have my favorites among the more bonkers of the Ben & Jerry’s offerings (Dublin Mudslide and Coffee Heathbar Crunch are my favs). But I am always on the look out for new ideas and if those ideas save time – even better. This fabulous one-ingredient banana ice cream is JUST such an idea.
